Top rules to follow before travelling to the UK:

  1. Have a valid passport with you
  2. From October 24, book and pay a Day 2 lateral flow test that you can already do at the airports upon your arrival (or by train at St. Pancras)
  3. Fill in the Passenger Locator Form with your personal information and the reference of your booked Day 2 test.


Once you are in London: to enter the conference venue

  1. Entrance for fully vaccinated (Pfizer / Moderna / AstraZeneca / Janssen) or negative test within the last 48 hours before entry**
  2. Face mask in all conference areas

**the EACS is recommending to everyone to do a self swab lateral flow test before coming to the Conference on a daily basis

Safety & hygiene concept at the Conference

A framework for hosting the Conference in a safe environment.

In the interests of the health & safety of all attendees, event personnel, and the broader community, the conference venue (ExCeL) and EACS apply safe measures:

  • Entrance for fully vaccinated (Pfizer / Moderna / Astrazeneca / Janssen) or negative test within the last 48 hours before entry
  • Face mask (surgical ones) in all conference areas
  • Social distancing in the session rooms
  • Hand sanitizers available in all common areas
  • Robust cleaning regimes
  • Improved fresh air circulation in line with latest CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) guidance and recommendations

England is relaxing their rules for international travel, the travel advice, including quarantine rules and exclusions, are reviewed and updated regularly.

We strongly encourage the conference participants to check the government website for the latest and most accurate information about travelling to England and current quarantine exceptions.

  • From October 24, lateral flow tests (antigen) to be introduced for vaccinated international arrivals: please click here.
  • From October 2, you will be able to book your Day 2 test online, we are recommending you to book withCollinsongroup who have testing facilities at every London airports and St. Pancras train station.
