It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 18th European AIDS Conference online and in London from October 27-30, 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted HIV services all over the globe and there is a need to share lessons learned from this crisis. More than ever, we must work together to get the HIV response back on track and move towards the elimination of HIV/AIDS as a global public health threat. Strong cooperation between clinicians, scientists, community organisations, public health agencies, academic institutions, and industry will be crucial if we are to succeed.
We will draw on these sectors to create not only a strong scientific programme, but also an innovative space where you can meet, learn, and share knowledge to build stronger partnerships to enhance HIV/AIDS care.
The 18th European AIDS Conference (EACS 2021) will be organised in a hybrid format from October 27-30, 2021. This means that the onsite Conference in ExCel London will take place as initially planned (following a comprehensive COVID-19 health and safety review), complemented by an engaging and interactive online platform that mirrors the scientific programme and industry sponsored sessions.
Under the theme "Crossing borders” the 18th European AIDS Conference will become a hub for the exchange of cutting-edge science, showcasing innovations in clinical care and supporting partnership working in HIV.
This alternative hybrid format will provide new opportunities to deliver content and raise awareness. We hope that many of you will be able to travel to London, but for those unable to make it in person, there will be the chance to attend and interact online.
We look forward to welcoming you in London or connecting with you online in October.
